Eating and Well-being

The surest way to mental, emotional, and physical well-being is to first get our diets right. Most of what we consume is a burden on the body-temple and creates a toxic environment inside us, which can cause subtle to major depression and a chronic sense of agitation.

The perfection of diet begins with the slow modification toward greater food and drink, as this allows the body to adjust in time, rather than stopping cold which will cause withdrawal symptoms that may discourage us. A simple movement in the right direction is more fruitful than a violent and sudden break in our normal patterns.
